Matthew, Tracy, Charlie and Harry de Woeps invite you to come and stay at Naseby's premier Holiday Park - The Holiday Park is set in 17 acres of Larch and native New Zealand trees adjacent to a swimming dam, just what you need after a hot day in the Otago sunshine. Nestled on the edge of the Black Forest it make it the ideal destination for mountain biking, swimming, curling and enjoying the winter sports Naseby is world famous for. Or why not take a rest day from cycling the rail trail and come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity that Naseby provides.
Since taking over the holiday Park 3 years ago we have undertaken extensive, environmentally friendly renovations while still keeping the beauty and the history of The Park intact. The majority of our hot water is now heated by solar energy and our main amenity building has been refurbished and is now a modern warm kitchen and relaxing area heated by a recessed log burner to keep you warm on those chilly Naseby evenings.
Our laundry area is an enclosed room with modern energy efficient washers and dryers. For the environmentally conscious amongst us we are happy to supply you with pegs so you can dry your laundry in the Central Otago fresh air.
We also provide Wi-Fi and Kiosk internet access (charge) with a local IT expert on hand to help with any problems you may experience with connectivity.
Our recently built Children playground is a mixture of fun and friendship and a central part of our Park with something for children old and young.
There is only one way to truly travel around the Naseby Township and that is by bike. We hire adult mountain bikes for a half or full day, we also have an infant carrier and a tag along bike.
We have a selection of accommodation available which include powered and unpowered sites, cabins (recently renovated) chalets and houses and original Miner's cottages (built in 1893) our houses and cottages all come with a log burner and a good supply of firewood. Early bookings are essential at busy times of the year.
Local attractions include;
Curling (All year round) Lugeing (winter) Ice skating (winter) 4 wheel driving, gold panning, Mountain biking, forest walks, swimming, Otago rail trail all set in the most beautiful scenery in the world. The Black Forest Café and Wendy's fantastic Chocolate Brownies is a must do for all visitors to Naseby.
